Joanne has a background in writing, research and journalism. She worked at Redcliffe College from 2005 - 2014 in Marketing and Communications and during this time worked with Jim Memory and Darrell Jackson to develop Vista.

Joanne produced a series of concept papers for Leadership Network’s European Church Planting Network from 2007 - 2012, highlighting areas of best practice within church planting churches and movements across Europe.  She also co-edited with Dr Evert van de Poll and contributed to the book Church Planting in Europe

In 2012 she graduated from Redcliffe College with an MA in European Mission and Intercultural Christianity. Her dissertation focused on the The Perceptions European 18-30 year olds of a Missional Lifestyle and is available on request.

Since leaving Redcliffe, Joanne is working in programme management and organisational development in the NHS, but maintains her interest in mission in Europe. She is a trustee of European Christian Mission Britain and Bristol International Student Centre, and lives near Bristol.
