Dr Alexandru Vlasin joins the Vista editorial team

We are delighted to welcome a new member to the Vista Editorial team!

Dr. Alexandru Vlasin is currently serving as missionary with Barnabas International as member care specialist whilst offering missionary training to Baptist Theological Seminary in Bucharest. He is also associate lecturer at University of Bucharest - Baptist theology Faculty - teaching several social work subjects.

Alex’s experience with homeless people, helping street children, young offenders and drug addicts coupled with numerous short-term trips to over 45 countries, training and assisting Romanians and international missionaries in various countries has given him a wide experience with the community of international mission workers and helped him as he serves on the Executive Board of the European Evangelical Mission Association (EEMA).

Dr. Vlasin is married and father of two children. He has a Ph.D. in missionary training (Queens University Belfast) and a Ph.D. in social work (University of Bucharest) and has published two books: “Mission Education in Romanian Evangelical Higher Education” and “Preventing Drug Addiction Relapse” and many articles on social work and mission subjects.
